The problem
Dr. Dennis Wamalwa has spent over two decades defending Kenya's most vulnerable as a KNCHR commissioner, but that record lived in fragments — he needed one credible home that tells the story, shows the work, and turns supporters into a movement.
My approach
I designed a warm, dignified political brand — an 'Equal rights for every person' hero, a story-led journey, a work and news/press archive, a gallery, and clear 'join the movement' and 'support' calls-to-action — with a light/dark theme. Built fast and mobile-first.
How it's built
- Next.js App Router build with a light/dark theme.
- About, My Work, News & Press and Gallery sections from a typed content model.
- Prominent 'join the movement' and support calls-to-action throughout the journey.
- SEO, Open Graph, sitemap and JSON-LD so the message travels.
Highlights
- A dignified hero that states the mission in one line — 'Equal rights for every person.'
- Impact told in numbers: two decades of service and over a thousand verified redress cases.
- Light/dark theme, fast and mobile-first for a broad Kenyan audience.
